This was recorded somewhere in 200/2001. It was started at my parent's house in New Lenox and finished in my Central St. home in Olympia shortly after I moved there in 2001. As this is about twenty one years old, it's a challenge to put myself in the shoes of the Joe who recorded this. However. I can hear that I was working with the discomforts of life and my confusion of understanding my place within it, what making music was, how to make music generally, how I made music specifically, and what I saw as a full-time observer of the often staid but also beautiful rural midwest, all approached with little to no filter.
